DVC Donates 2 Ambulances Under CSR Initiative to Strengthen Healthcare in Koderma
Koderma, June 2026: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has strengthened its commitment to community welfare by handing over two ambulances under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support emergency healthcare services in the region.
The ambulances were handed over by Shri Sanjay Kumar, CGM & HOP, KTPS, to Smt. Annapurna Devi, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Women and Child Development, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Koderma.
The vehicles will be operated by the NGO Pehchan, which aims to improve emergency medical response and expand access to healthcare services for people in rural and underserved areas.
The initiative was attended by Shri Amit Yadav, Hon’ble MLA Bharkhatta, along with senior officials from DVC, including Shri Tapas Mirdha (GM-AHM) and Shri Francis Hembrom (DGM-HR), highlighting strong institutional support for the program.
DVC stated that the CSR initiative reflects its continued focus on community development and improving quality of life in the regions where it operates.
Through such efforts, the organization aims to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and ensure timely medical assistance for vulnerable communities.
