DRISHTI will support operations across DVC’s extensive network, including approximately 63 substations and power house switchyards, 10,000 circuit kilometers of transmission lines, and 22,500 transmission towers across West Bengal and Jharkhand.
The platform is fully integrated with DVC’s SAP-based ERP system, enabling centralized asset management, real-time GIS-based visualization, and data-driven operational decision-making.
With the introduction of mobile-based digital logging for daily operations, maintenance, and testing activities, DRISHTI eliminates manual processes and enhances efficiency across field operations.
DVC stated that the platform will also serve as a foundation for advanced technologies such as AI-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, digital twin systems, and future smart grid initiatives.
The launch of DRISHTI represents a significant milestone in DVC’s efforts to modernize its transmission infrastructure and improve operational transparency and reliability.
