MOIL Posts Record-Breaking Production in FY26, Delivers Best-Ever Q3 and 9-Month Performance
New Delhi: State-owned manganese major MOIL Limited has delivered its best-ever production performance in the current financial year, setting new records for both the third quarter and the first nine months of FY 2025–26.
According to the company’s latest press release, MOIL produced 4.77 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in Q3 FY26, marking a growth of 3.7% over the corresponding period last year. This is the highest production the company has ever achieved in any third quarter since its inception.
The strong momentum continued over the April–December period, with MOIL recording its highest-ever nine-month production of 14.21 lakh tonnes, reflecting a 6.8% increase compared to the same period in the previous financial year.
The company attributed the impressive performance to focused mine planning, improved operational discipline, enhanced mechanisation, and the consistent efforts of its workforce across all operating units.
MOIL, a Government of India enterprise and the country’s largest producer of manganese ore, said the record output strengthens its position in supporting India’s steel and alloy industries while reinforcing its long-term growth trajectory.
