NHPC Urges Securityholders to Update Details and Claim Unpaid Dividends
New Delhi: NHPC Limited has issued an important advisory to its securityholders (equity shareholders and bondholders).
Key Requests to Securityholders

Register Email Address
Shareholders are requested to register their email addresses with their Depository Participants (for demat holdings) or with the Registrar & Share Transfer Agent (for physical holdings). -
Old Transfer Deeds
Transfer deeds executed before 1 April 2019 (where original security certificates are available) should be lodged or re-lodged with the RTA latest by 4 February 2027. -
Update Bank Account Details
Securityholders are advised to update their bank account details to receive future dividend, interest or redemption payments electronically. Issuance of physical warrants/Demand Drafts has been discontinued as per SEBI regulations. -
Physical Holdings
Holders of physical securities should furnish PAN, KYC details, Bank particulars and Nomination with the RTA. -
Claim Unpaid Dividends
Securityholders are urged to claim their unpaid/unclaimed dividends to avoid:-
Transfer of unpaid dividend to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) after 7 years

Transfer of shares to IEPF if dividend remains unclaimed for 7 consecutive years
