Mumbai: Wipro has reported its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting steady revenue growth, strong deal wins and a major capital return announcement.

The company also approved a ₹150 billion (₹15,000 crore) share buyback, subject to shareholder approval.

 

Q4 FY26: Revenue Growth and Strong Deal Momentum

For the quarter ended March 31, 2026:

  • Revenue: ₹242.4 billion ($2.58 billion), up 2.9% QoQ and 7.7% YoY

  • Net income: ₹35.0 billion, up 12.3% QoQ

  • Adjusted net income: Up 3.7% QoQ

  • IT services operating margin: 17.3%

  • Total bookings: $3.46 billion

  • Large deal bookings: $1.44 billion, up 65.1% QoQ

  • Voluntary attrition: 13.8%

Operating cash flow stood at 90.1% of net income, reflecting continued strong cash generation.

FY26 Performance: Stable Growth Amid Market Challenges

For the full year ended March 31, 2026:

  • Revenue: ₹926.2 billion ($9.9 billion), up 4.0% YoY

  • Net income: ₹132.0 billion, up 0.5% YoY

  • Adjusted net income: Up 2.2% YoY

  • Operating margin: 17.2% (expanded 0.2%)

  • Total bookings: $16.4 billion, up 14% YoY

  • Large deal bookings: $7.8 billion, up 45.4% YoY

  • Operating cash flow: 112.6% of net income

The company maintained a stable margin profile while continuing to invest in clients, capabilities and talent.

Buyback and Capital Allocation

Wipro’s board approved a ₹15,000 crore share buyback at ₹250 per share, representing 5.7% of total paid-up equity capital.

The company also confirmed that the ₹11 interim dividend declared during FY26 will be treated as the final dividend for the year.

 

AI Strategy and Leadership Commentary

CEO Srini Pallia highlighted the growing impact of artificial intelligence:

AI advancements are reshaping client priorities and creating new opportunities as Wipro pivots to a services-as-software model through its AI Native Business & Platforms unit.

CFO Aparna Iyer emphasized strong cash conversion and shareholder returns as key highlights of the year.

 

Major Deal Wins Across Industries

During the quarter, Wipro secured multiple strategic deals across healthcare, retail, energy, manufacturing and financial services, including partnerships with:

  • ABB Group
  • TruStage
  • Olam Group

These engagements focus heavily on AI-led transformation, automation, and cloud modernization.

 

Q1 FY27 Outlook

For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, Wipro expects IT services revenue between:

  • $2.60 billion – $2.65 billion
  • Sequential guidance: -2.0% to 0% (constant currency)

The guidance reflects a cautious near-term demand environment despite strong deal momentum.

Wipro enters FY27 with strong bookings, steady margins and a significant capital return plan. While near-term growth remains measured, the company is positioning itself to capitalize on the accelerating adoption of AI-led enterprise transformation.
