NSIC NTSC Howrah Signs MoU with Sister Nivedita University for AI & Entrepreneurship Skills
Kolkata, 8 September 2026: The Technical Services Centre (NTSC), Howrah of The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata.
The MoU was signed on 7 September 2026.
Purpose of the Collaboration
The partnership aims to provide students of the University with specialised training programmes in:

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Entrepreneurship Development
Students from Computer Science, Engineering, Management and other disciplines will get access to industry-relevant skill development programmes designed to improve their knowledge, competencies and employability in emerging technology and entrepreneurship areas.

It was signed in the presence of Prof. Anupam Basu, Vice Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, along with other officials from NSIC and the University.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen academia–industry linkages and foster innovation, technological proficiency and entrepreneurial capabilities among students.
