Dr. Pushp Kumar Joshi, The New CMD of HPCL

In January 2022 Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) recommended his name for the post. At that time, he worked as Director (Human Resources) in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

New Delhi: Dr. Pushp Kumar Joshi on May 8, 2022, took over the charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of a Maharatna Company, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL).

A Doctorate & PG in Human Resource Management

Before he was appointed CMD, he was Director-HR HPCL. He is also having additional charge of Director-Marketing. A Doctorate & Post Graduate in Human Resource Management, he has held key HR portfolios during his career.

Joshi is a Doctorate in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate in Human Resource Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a Bachelor of Law from Andhra University. He held key portfolios in Human Resources functions viz. Executive Director – HRD and Head – HR of Marketing Division.
