Bilaspur: Chairman & Managing Director Dr Prem Sagar Mishra inaugurated the annual mine safety fortnight by unfurling the safety flag in the administrative building premises of SECL Headquarters Bilaspur.
On this occasion, SECL Director Technical (Operations) Mr S.K. Pal, Director Technical (Planning/Projects) Shri S.N. Kapri, Shri B.P. Singh General Manager (Mines Safety/Rescue), Shri A.K. Saxena, General Manager (Personnel/Administration), various heads of departments, representatives of various trade unions, officers and employees were present.
At the beginning of the program, the chief guest and distinguished guests garlanded the martyr's memorial and the miner's statue, after which the chief guest hoisted the safety flag, after which the Coal India corporate song was played.
On this occasion, the brochure “Suraksha Se Samriddhi” focused on the topics related to safety and security was released by the chief guest and distinguished guests.
In his address, Chief Guest Chairman cum Managing Director Dr Prem Sagar Mishra congratulated and congratulated the event and said that considering safety as an integral part of our work culture, we have to fight in the work by being alert and aware. He reiterated the commitment of the management towards Zero Harm.
On this occasion, the chief guest administered the security oath, which was repeated by the attendees.
