BEML Limited secures ₹414 crore order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation

Bangalore, December 3, 2025 — Public sector company BEML Limited has secured an additional order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the supply of additional trainsets for Phase II of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project. The order is valued at ₹414 crore and comes as part of BEML’s ongoing metro rail supply contracts.

The company informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, stating that the order was received in the normal course of business.

Urmi Chaudhury, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of BEML, confirmed the development from the corporate office in Bangalore. This order strengthens BEML’s portfolio in urban mobility solutions and highlights the company’s continued role in supporting India’s expanding metro rail infrastructure.
