Cabinet Clears ₹26,069 Crore Kamala Hydro Project in Arunachal
New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on April 8, 2026 approved ₹26,069.50 crore for the 1720 MW Kamala Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. The project will come up across Kamle, Kra Daadi, and Kurung Kumey districts and will be built by NHPC Limited in partnership with the state government.
