New Delhi: In a step supporting India’s electric mobility push, Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL) has released a tender for constructing the foundational infrastructure for an EV charging station within its residential township at the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project site.
The tender (No. NUPPL/GTPS/C&P/S-4/DCB/T-038-25-26) seeks a contractor to build an RCC platform, two culverts, and install structural gates for the EV charging bay. The project, located inside the township serving the 3x660 MW power plant under construction, carries a fast-track timeline of 4 months from site handover.
Interested civil contractors with a proven track record of PSU or government projects in the last 7 years can bid. Financial eligibility criteria include having executed either a single project worth ₹31.98 lakh, two projects worth ₹19.99 lakh each, or three projects worth ₹15.99 lakh each. Bidders must also meet statutory requirements such as GST, EPF, ESI, PAN, and four years of income tax compliance.
