RailTel’s ₹20.35 Crore Himachal Education Project LoA Cancelled

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has informed the stock exchanges that the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) it earlier received from the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, has been cancelled.

In April 2026, RailTel had secured the LoA for establishment of a MIS-Central Dashboard System for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Himachal Pradesh. The estimated size of the order was ₹20,35,24,096 (including tax).

The Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, has now cancelled the LoA on account of financial non-viability of the project and non-availability/non-collection of the requisite funds required for its implementation.

RailTel had earlier informed the exchanges about the order on 28 April 2026 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The latest intimation has been filed with the required disclosures.
