SJVN Inaugurates Mechanised Hydraulic Stack Parking Facility at Shimla HQ
SJVN Limited has inaugurated a newly installed Fully Mechanised Hydraulic Stack Parking Facility at the Auditorium Block of its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla.
The facility was inaugurated by Chairman & Managing Director Shri Bhupender Gupta in the presence of Director (Personnel) Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) Shri Parthajit De, Director (Projects) Shri Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Independent Director Smt. Arti Kujur, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Pankaj Porwal, along with Heads of Departments and other senior officials.
To mark the occasion, the CMD and all Directors planted saplings at the premises.
The parking facility has been developed at an approximate cost of ₹60 lakh and has a capacity to accommodate 98 vehicles. It comprises 24 stacks accommodating 48 vehicles at Level 01 and 25 stacks accommodating 50 vehicles at Level 02.
The Hydraulic Stack Parking System is equipped with hydraulic operations, mechanical locking mechanisms and sensor-based safety features to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation.
SJVN stated that the initiative reflects its commitment to efficient utilisation of infrastructure, enhancement of workplace amenities and maintenance of a sustainable environment within and around the office complex.
