NHPC Appoints Three Joint Statutory Auditors for FY 2026-27

Faridabad, September 8, 2026: NHPC Limited has appointed three Chartered Accountant firms as Joint Statutory Auditors for the financial year 2026-27. The appointments have been made by the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG).

Three Audit Firms Appointed

The firms appointed as NHPC's Joint Statutory Auditors are:

  • Vinod Kumar & Associates, New Delhi
  • S Jaykishan, Kolkata
  • Dharam Raj & Co., Jammu

NHPC said that S Jaykishan and Dharam Raj & Co. continue from the previous year, with no change in these two joint statutory auditors.

Audit of Consolidated Financial Statements

The appointed Joint Statutory Auditors will also audit NHPC's Consolidated Financial Statements, in accordance with Sections 139 and 129(4) of the Companies Act, 2013.

Brief Profile of the Firms

Vinod Kumar & Associates (VKA): Established in 1980, the firm provides audit, assurance, taxation, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and advisory services. It has 15 partners, along with 36+ Chartered Accountants and 60+ semi-qualified staff and trainees.

S Jaykishan: Established in 1976, the Kolkata-based firm has a strong practice in audit, assurance, banking, financial services, regulatory compliance, forensic review and risk advisory. It has 16 full-time partners and more than 105 professional staff and articled assistants.

Dharam Raj & Co.: The firm has around 29 years of professional experience across sectors including banking, PSUs, power and energy, oil and gas, infrastructure and telecom. It is empanelled with CAG and RBI and has undertaken statutory audit assignments for banking and power-sector institutions.
