SAIL 54th AGM on 24 Sept 2026; Annual Report FY26 Released with Record Production & 51% PAT Growth

New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) will hold its 54th Annual General Meeting on 24 September 2026 at 10:30 AM through Video Conferencing (VC)/Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM).

The Notice of the AGM and the Annual Report for the financial year 2025-26 were sent to shareholders electronically on 1 September 2026. Both documents are available on the company’s website and the NSDL e-voting platform.

Key Highlights from Annual Report FY 2025-26

• Sales Turnover: ₹1,09,966 crore

• Revenue from Operations: ₹1,10,810 crore

• Profit After Tax: ₹3,233 crore (up ~51% YoY)

• EBITDA: ₹13,146 crore (margin 11.95%)

Best-ever Production & Sales

• Crude Steel: 19.43 million tonnes

• Saleable Steel: 19.18 million tonnes

• Total Steel Sales: 19.93 million tonnes

Balance Sheet

• Borrowings reduced by ₹5,012 crore to ₹31,922 crore

• Net Worth: ₹58,195 crore

• Debt-Equity ratio improved to 0.55:1

SAIL remained 100% self-sufficient in iron ore and commercialised 28 new steel grades during the year. The company continues to work towards expanding capacity to around 35 MTPA by FY 2030-31.
