GAIL Director (HR) Ayush Gupta Wins Visionary Award for Strategic Human Capital Leadership
GAIL (India) Limited is proud to announce that Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), has been conferred the “Visionary Award for Strategic Human Capital Leadership” at the CHRO Leadership Summit & Awards 2026.
The award, organised by Amity International Business School, Amity University, recognises his significant contributions towards advancing strategic and people-centric HR practices at GAIL.

Shri Gupta also participated as a distinguished panellist in the discussion titled “People, Purpose & Possibilities: Reimagining Human Capital in the Age of AI”.
During the session, he shared insights on the evolving relationship between technology and human potential. He noted that while AI can significantly enhance productivity and decision-making, navigating data complexity, contextual understanding, ethical considerations and risk management will continue to require the human touch.
He further observed that just as an unused muscle gradually weakens, over-reliance on AI without exercising the mind through learning and reflection may diminish independent thinking and the ability to create meaningful value.
Emphasising continuous learning, Shri Gupta encouraged students and young professionals to cultivate the habit of reading, critical thinking and contextual understanding.
