NLC India Renewables Signs 25-Year PPA for 110 MW Solar Project with NCRTC

NLC India Limited has informed the stock exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), is moving ahead with a 110 MW solar power project through a joint venture.

The project is being developed by NIRL NCRTC Renewables Limited (NNRL) — a joint venture in which NIRL holds 74% equity and the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) holds 26%.

On 29 August 2026, NNRL and NCRTC executed the Power Purchase Agreement in New Delhi. Under the captive-mode arrangement, NCRTC will procure the entire power generated from the project for a period of 25 years.

The agreement gives NCRTC long-term, dedicated renewable power while allowing NLC’s renewable arm to expand its portfolio through a structured joint-venture route.

NLC India Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise, stated that the development is in line with its growing presence in the renewable energy space. The intimation was filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 for the information of investors and the public.

This captive solar arrangement is expected to support NCRTC’s clean-energy requirements for its operations while adding another operational asset to NLC’s renewable subsidiary in northern India.
