New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday highlighted that the funds around Rs 6,200 crores have been held in various bank account, as said to Delhi high court. This comes up when as earlier Reliance Infrastructure subsidiary, Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Ltd (DAMEPL), has filed a petition on January 7 against the DMRC for contempt of court.
According to the recent affidavit filed by DMRC mentioned that it has Rs 6, 208 crores in its various bank accounts as of January 3, 2022.
However, DAMEPL in its application said that DMRC has not provided details of its remaining funds and bank accounts, which is clearly disregard and contempt of Delhi HC order, according to ANI.
