EIL and IOCL achieves a major milestone
The equipment was erected and assembled in four sections in situ and the welding and PWHT of the joints were carried out in the vertical position on erection.
New Delhi: Engineers India along with Indian Oil team achieved a major milestone at the Panipat Refinery Expansion Project (P25) site with the successful erection of the last section of the C3 splitter column along with its platform and ladders.
The equipment was erected and assembled in four sections in situ and the welding and PWHT of the joints were carried out in the vertical position on erection. The Propylene Recovery Unit (Licensor-EIL & Capacity-1150 KTPA) is being executed in EPCM mode by EIL at the P25 Panipat site.
