Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (NSE: POWERGRID | BSE: 532898) has informed the stock exchanges that the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) has appointed joint statutory auditors of the Company for the financial year 2026-27.

The communication was received vide C&AG’s letter dated 7 September 2026. POWERGRID made the disclosure on 8 September 2026 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Newly Appointed Joint Statutory Auditors

The following Chartered Accountant firms/LLPs have been appointed:

  1. A S A & Associates LLP (Delhi)

  2. B N C A & Co. (Hyderabad)

  3. Jain Paras Bilala & Co. (Kolkata)

  4. K C Mehta & Co. LLP (Mumbai)

These auditors will also act as the auditors of the Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company under Section 139 read with Section 129(4) of the Companies Act, 2013.

  • B N C A & Co.: Founded in 1992, based in Hyderabad with branches in Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Nellore. Experienced in statutory and internal audits of PSUs and listed companies.

  • Jain Paras Bilala & Co.: Established in 2002, head office in Jaipur with branches across major cities. Provides audit, assurance, taxation and advisory services.

  • K C Mehta & Co. LLP: Founded in 1958, with offices in Vadodara, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Dubai. Offers a wide range of audit, tax and advisory services.

The appointment is subject to the standard terms and conditions prescribed by the C&AG under Section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013.
