ISRO to launch Earth Observation Satellite through SSLV this Independence Day
The small launch vehicle developed by ISRO is cost-effective, has a low turnaround time, and can accommodate multiple microsatellites.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will celebrate Independence Day by launching an Earth Observation Satellite into space. The Small Satellite Launch Vehicle will be used to launch the satellite on August 15th at 9:17 am from Sriharikota.
The small launch vehicle developed by ISRO is cost-effective, has a low turnaround time, and can accommodate multiple microsatellites.
It can also be launched on-demand with minimal infrastructure requirements and can carry a 500 kg satellite to a 500 km orbit. Once the demonstration flight is successful, production will be transferred to the private sector.
