BMRCL awards Rs 45.31 crore contract to OTIS India for Phase-2A & 2B metro stations

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has awarded a work order of Rs 45.31 crore to OTIS Elevator Company (India) Ltd for the design, supply, and commissioning of machine room-less gearless elevators across Phase-2A and Phase-2B stations, including 10 years of CAMC following the 2-year Defect Liability Period. The cost of the contract is Rs 45 crore.

The Scope of the Work includes Design & manufacture, Supply & installation, Testing & commissioning, integrated testing and commissioning and 10-year Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) post 2-year Defect Liability Period (DLP).

This contract is in line with the increasing need for dependable public transport in urban India and facilitates the smooth integration of contemporary vertical mobility solutions into metro infrastructure.
