WCL pays tribute to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar
On 14.04.2025, WCL honored Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary with a tribute ceremony led by Chairman J.P. Dwivedi. Highlighting Ambedkar’s principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity, Dwivedi emphasized their relevance in today’s world and their role in nation-building.
Today on 14.04.2025, WCL paid tribute to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. In a ceremony held at the headquarters, WCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri J.P. Dwivedi, Director (Technical / Planning & Projects) Shri Anandji Prasad, Director (HR) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre paid tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary and expressed their respect to him.
In his address on this occasion, Shri J.P. Dwivedi spoke in detail on the work and thoughts of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He described the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution as effective in the development of the nation. Throwing light on the biography of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, he said that Babasaheb's thoughts are very relevant and appropriate even in today's changing environment.

During the program, Public Officer for SC/ST/OBC Cell, Shri Atul Bansod read the biography of Babasaheb and the youth employees presented a beautiful Bhim-Geet. Members of Kalyan Mandal, Shri Brajesh Singh and Shri Kameshwar Rai were present in this function.
General Managers, Heads of Departments, Officers and Employees were present in large numbers in the function. Everyone expressed their respect towards Babasaheb by paying floral tribute. Tributes were also paid to Babasaheb in all the areas, units and establishments of WCL.
