RVNL Recruitment 2026: GM (Civil) Post on Deputation in New Delhi

Mumbai: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has issued a vacancy notice for the post of General Manager (Civil) – one post – to be filled on deputation basis at its Corporate Office in New Delhi.

• Duration: Five years (subject to Government approval for exemption from the rule of immediate absorption)
• Service: IRSE / Civil Engineering
• Age limit: Below 58 years
• Pay: Parent pay plus deputation allowance

Eligibility

Officers holding substantively:

• Posts in analogous grade (CDA / IDA), or

• Posts in Level-13 (CDA) with 17 years’ service in Group ‘A’, or

• Posts in IDA E-7 (₹1,00,000–2,60,000) for four years

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project planning, monitoring and implementation of infrastructure projects, including project scheduling, milestone tracking, progress review, contract management, stakeholder coordination and inter-departmental coordination.

Controlling officers / Zonal Railways are required to forward applications of only eligible candidates along with vigilance/DAR clearance and last five years’ APAR grading within 15 days of the closing date.

Closing date: 30 days from the date of issue of the notice (issued on 28 August 2026).

Age and eligibility will be reckoned as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.
